Carriage Bolts
Does any one have any 5/1/6 X 2 3/4" old style carriage bolts? I'm talking about threads that only go up around 1" from the bottom. They can be good used. I hate these new bolts that are threaded to the top! Yes, I know I'm particular but so what?

Re: Carriage Bolts
Larry, if no one comes up with any, I probably have some. How many do you need?

Re: Carriage Bolts
I found this company online. Most of their bolts are fully threaded, but a few are only partially threaded. The heads of their bolts are a little rough, but some work with a grinder would take care of that.

BTW, A Google search for "partially threaded carriage bolts" turned up lots of hits.
