Hershey Turtle Deck Trade or Buy?

Post by Carter » Fri Sep 22, 2023 10:02 am

Hello all, I've got an earlier turtle deck on my '22 Runabout right now and would like to replace it with a more correct one (flat handles, notched for battery), and hopefully better matched to the car as well. Would ideally like to trade, but would also buy the right one. Pics attached of what I've got.

David, just from a cost savings standpoint you may also consider just a trade for the complete top/lid including hardware from someone that needs the early style handles you have. For that matter someone just may have the lid alone. Shipping would really be a possibility then. Might want to include looking for lid in your tile. Best John

John, respectfully, David has a ‘14-‘16 (or ‘17,18) turtle deck w/o provision for a battery offset in the front panel and he also needs this front panel along with the pressed steel latches for his ‘22.

George you’re absolutely right looking at the pictures again I can see it may have a front panel, thought it was missing in which case he could make it work, forgot about that cut out at the floor. Don’t have one with that type turtle deck that needs a battery.

John, thanks for the reply, and George, thank you for the additional information as to why I'm looking for another deck. By the way, George, did you get my email reply?
Thanks!

Thank you for the reply, but that won't work for me, I need the '19-'22 style. Good luck!
