REBUILT 1927 Short Block FS

Post by Gen3AntiqueAuto » Wed Aug 24, 2022 4:18 pm

I have a rebuilt 1927 T short block here for sale. It has a 290 cam and adjustable lifters. Professionally rebuilt and then re-built again the right way by me after it arrived here in a "show car" with an oil pan full of coolant and less than 10 minutes of run time.

Not sure how to stick a video in here so here's the link showing the engine that is for sale - https://youtu.be/e67RhQ9F1lg

I'm asking $4500 cash and carry.

I'm sorry but the last time I shipped a short block they smashed it and I was out $4000. You'll have to come visit or send someone with cash in hand that can bring it to you. :(

Hi Richard,

I would suggest you be in touch with Tim Pearson. You may know him, his leaving in Calgary. He's a fantastic guy and he may help you with engine. He's a top gun gentlemen, he's awesome for engine rebuilding.

Still a few issues that need sorting, that wire around the wrist pin bolts will come adrift when running and oil holes need to be drilled in the pistons for the wrist pins, also fibre cam gears are known not to last long on a generator block.

Hey Jim long time no see! I do not know off the top of my head if I have one stamped canada. Never cared enough to inspect the castings on what I stored away. I DO have the original block for my fordor here somewhere, I'll have to look to see if it was canadian or a replacement. If I find one, are you asking me to build you an engine?

Looks like I'm being forced out of retirement. :( Tempted to throw my old ads back up in the VF, haven't decided yet.
