Steven, I just cut one into 6 pieces to go in the rubbish bin! It was about 75% tread, but had a badly cut bead.
They turn up every now and then in Australia. Dunlop stopped making T clincher tyres in the 1960's. 21" straight sided ones ran longer. It would be costly to ship one to you!!!!!

Does that fit a Model T rim?

Re: WTB an old Dunlop Model T Tire
Steven, the rule is take the width x 2 from the diameter to find the rim size. So 2 x 4.5 width = 9. Subtract from diameter of 34 = 23, which is model T size.
Hope this helps.

Re: WTB an old Dunlop Model T Tire
On second look, while the 23" is correct for a model T, that tyre is straight sided, nor a clincher tyre. You would need a split rim to mount the tyre.
If it is just for dislay, it could be mounted on a Chev split rim.

Thanks Allan,
For the information, now I learned my one thing for the day.
No just want the tire and no rim for display. To bad it is for a Chevy.

That tire would look excellent in that holder. What do you want for the holder?

Re: WTB an old Dunlop Model T Tire
Steven, the formula is correct. My maths is out though. 34-9=25. That tyre was likely for a larger car than a T. Still a nice display item though.
