FS Bevin Bermuda Bell (SOLD)
Here is a very nice original early T-era heavy nickel-plated brass Bevin Bermuda Foot Bell. This bell is in wonderful original condition, with nice nickel plating with very minor shelf wear. Looks to be NOS or barely used. It mounts under the floorboards and produces a very loud “DING DONG!” when the foot plunger is depressed. 5-1/2 diameter. Lots of fun, I have one on each of my Ts. 300 includes shipping.

Very nice bell in great condition. I have a couple. The one shown has a hole drilled in the plunger cap. Wonder what that was for? I have never seen the hole before.

The hole on the plunger is for a small chain to secure the plunger so you don’t lose it if the plunger pops out on rough roads. I’ve seen them with and without the chain.

Hi Tom,
The hole in the plunger is to allow a short length of chain to be attached to the plunger and the other end secured to one of the bell's mounting screws.
This feature provides a means to prevent the plunger from coming out of the bell and being lost.

I can see how that would be a good item to have. Fortunately I’ve never lost the plunger. I was hoping the hole was gonna be for some fancy do dad!

In regards to how loud they are, two of ours are steel and one is aluminum. The steel ones are much louder, however, all three have a nice tone! As a side note, our X Govenor of KY, Matt Bevin, owns the company, meaning it’s still in the family for more than a hundred years.
