Clay, do you have a wire wheel you could bolt on that hub? It looks the wrong shape on the outer end, and that may be a disappointment to a purchaser it won't take a wheel.

Its a correct hub for 26/27 wire wheels.

Clay, the reason I posted the caution is the outside end of the hub is usually tapered, and that taper makes that end thinner, and more prone to splitting in service. The taper is meant to engage on the inside of the wheel hub thus better supporting the wheel. A good thick powder coat will often cause interference enough to prevent the wheel seating properly.

If you have a wire wheel, and it fits I will have learned some more.

Allan; When he had his picture posted here, it was clear to someone who knows what they are looking at that it was the angle of the photograph that made the hub look different than any other T wire wheel hub out there. It would be real decent of you if you would refrain from putting your “2 cents worth” into peoples classified ads. This is the classifieds not the discussion forum.

Allan, Like I stated before its a correct hub for the 26/27 wire wheels.

Ford made more than one style of wire wheel hubs. I believe you are thinking of this style.

I have several sets and this was an extra. I have more of the style like I have listed than the more tapered type.
I hope this helps, but like Adam said, this is not the forum.

That's the one Clay. I have learned something today. The first one you posted I have never seen on our Canadian sourced cars.

My first response was made on the strength of avoiding any possible angst for both the seller and buyer. I believe the classifieds should be as helpful as the forum, rather than a free-for-all which might be misleading.
My apologies if my thinking is wrong.
