WTB rear axle truss for 26

I am looking for a truss like the one below for the rear end of my 26 speedster. Let me know what you might have.

What purpose do they serve?

Early riveted housings were prone to flexing (and leaking) - the truss supposedly alleviated the stresses. That photo is of our '14 Touring !

Thanks for the link. My speedster uses lowering plates that cantilever off the rear axle. It will place some new forces on the axle not seen on a standard axle. Providing some extra support is not a bad idea. Plus, I like the look. About the only thing on this car that has not been changed/modified are the block, hogs head, and radiator.

It is tricky to put a floor jack under the rear end with the truss in place. It is also difficult to know when you are supporting the axel or possibly over tightening and causing more problems than good. I adjusted mine several times but I was never happy with the functionality of the truss and nobody could tell me how tight or loose it should be. Now it is a decoration only, which I really like the look of, that is why I bought it.
