The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

I made a dozen of them in cast iron, the time it took to machine was not worth what people would pay for them, I did make a couple that got used on some interesting projects.

Re: engine joe model t head
we played with this head for a while first one was 90 lbs. cut it and sliced it to figure out how to lighten it, got it down to 45 lbs. a couple friends have them and two where sold, a good friend machined them and added Engine Joe on it. Les had a couple he cut down to make a really high compression head for his five main block.

Re: engine joe model t head
I think I found one of the 90# heads @ a swap meet in Arizona a few years ago, didn't buy it because of the weight. Wish I had. I picked up a
Ricardo head that is pretty heavy also but both look to have a lot of coolant capacity & would good in the southwest. Joe what was the
compression ratio of those heads & can they be run with high compression pistons?
Craig.

Re: engine joe model t head
Craig ,I left plenty of casting to mill more off to raise compression if wanted and no you could not run high compression pistons with it.
