FS Fatman Steering Wheel (SOLD)

Post by ThreePedalTapDancer » Wed Oct 30, 2024 3:50 pm

Original accessory Model T Ford heavy duty cast steel fatman flip up folding steering wheel center. Ready for a 17 inch wood rim. Works by pulling lever down, which allows steering wheel to flip up out of the way. Great condition, nice paint with some minor pitting, solid with no damage or repairs. Nice looking wheel. 225 includes shipping lower 48.

Ed, is there an adapter to make the splined mount fit the round T mount? What is the weight?

This accessory wheel was designed to fit the Model T Ford. Here is a spare steering shaft installed to demonstrate the fit. It weighs @ 4 lbs.

The multiple spline locations would be for "centering the wheel" - IMO.

Now I have it! I must measure the donor wooden rim I have stored away.

Judging by the depth of that wheel, wasn't someone looking for a wheel that would make it closer to himself?
Craig.
