Lisa,

If you haven't already, try Mark Chaffin. He often has parts not advertised here on the forum.

Another source would be Lang's. They're a great bunch of people and are always very helpful. Like Chaffin's, they have a good selection of used parts, but you have to contact them by phone.

The third possible source would be Bob's in Loves Park, Ill. He has a very good selection of used parts.

Good luck,
Mike.

I should have one. Just bought a Barn load of parts & set aside some steering columns for parts. Will look later today. But if Mark has one take it.

I pulled one out of storage. Need to disassemble, part out, the steering column. Will send you an eMail & if you respond I can send pictures.
The cup looks like its still nickle finish, gears look good & greasy, the cap is in question has barn dust/oil incrustation

The best way to get the part you need is to look the part up in a Ford Price List of Parts.

Then mention the correct part number in your ad.

That small book is worth the price!

There is no steering gear case cup listed in the book!

Does everyone but me know what part is required?

Then I have only been working with Model Ts for 42 years now!

One old gent told me I can learn something every day, if you pay close attention!

I'm guessing this might be a 3539-D Steering bracket with Bushing.

The OP seems to have found the requested parts. FWIW, p/n 3507 is the "Steering gear internal gear and bushing", p/n 3504 is "steering gear cover", both parts used 09-26 according to1926 Ford parts list. P/n3539D is "steering gear bracket assembly" for coupe , roadster, tudoor and touring. jb

You are correct on all accounts, part numbers and (Lisa) found that parts; being shipping Today, Friday. The knurling on the cover for 1926 is over the entire edge as opposed to the upper half of the edge

Case and cover would have been a better description.

James - YES IT DID thanks to Frank. I am floored at how you folks support 'your own'. Truly very appreciative. Jim Golden - I was going to list part number from a retailer's current day sales catalogs but I did not think it would matter as part is no longer made allegedly. Jim has an excellent suggestion and i will locate a reprint copy of the ford list for future.

Jim Golden - JIM !!!!!!- I have sent PM's to you over past few days. Please contact me. You might remember - you sent me a few parts a year or two ago. I have a question for you and sent it via PM on the MTFCA site. THX@ Hope you are well. Lisa

Yes but do not need the gears. I should have listed the parts #s but as I said, one is allegedly not made anymore so figured my own unique verbiage would do the trick! LOL. BTW -Replaced the gears recently. I need the other two items. Am thinking mine is worn too much internally causing gears to move and allow play in wheel

yes 3507 and 3504 are the part numbers. One is still manufactured and one is not.
