SOLD
From my research I believe this to be a 1915-1916 and possibly very early 1917 coil box and lid.
No dents that I can see, it does have some rust pitting. Switch is in very poor shape. Looks like someone has replaced the wood in the past but it obviously needs to be replaced again. All the contacts and porcelain look to be in good shape. A couple thumb screws are missing.

The box and wood back has no slots for the stiffener bar. Also the wood is veneered (can be re-glued) & not one piece plywood. Not sure if any repro's were done that way. Has posts for both MAG & BAT
Not sure if non-glazed porcelain insulators
Lid is 1915-16. Early '15 would not have a shelf inside the lid --
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.
