Post by AdminJeff » Sat Jul 05, 2025 11:30 am

Best Possible quality rebuild.
PRICE DROP! $325!!

Now that I make literally every part in these units except the housing and the armatures, I can pass some savings on to everyone.

I have ONE 6v starter for sale that I just finished putting together yesterday.

New field coils with silver soldered post (yes, I now make these)
Bronze bushing with neoprene seal stops oil leaks
New (not refurbished) brush plate, brush holders, insulators and brushes
New field pole bolts
New BRONZE bendix bushing, new double sealed cap bearing
New dust ring
Comes with new gaskets (bendix cover and starter) and woodruff key

$375 total with shipping included BOTH ways with core return (I need more starter cores)

Thank you Jeff for making these parts affordable and of the highest quality. I used all the new parts yesterday and was extremely pleased with the process of how they went together. Your dedication to the hobby shows in all of the work you do. For those that may not know me, My name is Chris Mize and I am the Model T Medic. Together with a handful of others, I am also a starter and generator rebuilder. Jeff has done a wonderful job in reproducing items that make a vast difference in the overall process and I am glad to be able to offer our work a more reasonable price. Thank you for your friendship and your commitment to keeping history on the road.
