Probably not a bumper hitch but a bumper bracket to mount a road light.

The hole measures 0.845 seems big for a road light. but you never know. Would be cool to find this in an old catalog

Any photos of a road runner trap. Had one that liked to perch on my outside TV antenna. Had a interesting five note chirp from high to low. Mating call ?
