Want to buy left side rear #3 buffalo hub

Post by FlyingMerkel » Fri Mar 20, 2026 9:56 pm

I’m looking to buy a left side rear buffalo #3 hub. I also want to buy a complete set of #3 caps, as well as two wheel centers, or wheels. I have most of a set, and would like to complete it.

Would be curious to know what over size axle the rear hub was made to fit?
Too big for a T and I think too small for a TT.

A T axle is 1.062" where the taper starts. Try it on a bare axle. I see 1.187".

Daniel, rear Hayes wire wheel hubs, more often than not, have flogged out keyways. I fix these by machining down a good T hub and boring out the Hayes hub to take the machined T hub. You might be able to do the same to make that hub fit.

Allan from down under.
