Site logs me out

Today, in the last several hours, when I refresh, the site logs me out. I can tell by losing the red icons that indicate there is new content to see.
I log in & the icon coloring comes back. Has happened 5 times in 2 hours.
Normally I go a month or more without needing to log in.
