Barter Swap one Frayer Phelps Wire Wheel trade for PASCO
Time to venture back to the shed and dig through those wire wheels sitting there. I have one Frayer / Phelps dental drive and looking to swap for PASCO. Wheel centre is OK rim fair. The hub has damage with a build up of brazing to repair it. Figure to swap at fall Hershey as any kind of shipping for these things is getting pricey.

I don’t recall ever seeing a Frayer brand wheel… but the hub does not appear to be Phelps to me (unless there were variations that I have not seen yet). Here is a Phelps hub for a T that I recreated years ago. The front hubs have no splines

Hi,
1) there are 36 teeth on the hub.
2) Included is a photo of the Frayer / Phelps hub cap.

The front hub that Kevin shows at the very top of this advert is from a Frayer. The wheel nut he just posted screws onto the hub and there is a special wire spring finger on the wire wheel that engages onto the outer teeth of the wheel nut.

Very interesting! A Frayer wheel… by Phelps. While having obviously similar interface designs, Frayer has a relatively conventional threaded wheel nut, while the Phelps has a bolt on cover plate to retain the wheel. Learned sumpin new today! Thanks fellas!
