Metal ring that fits in wood felloe valve stem hole?

Does anyone know if Stutzman puts the ring in the valve stem hole or do you need to purchase it somewhere?
This is for a wood felloe.

Stutzman does exceptional work. When you get them back they are perfect and all you need to do is paint them. Only suggestion is if you want the stamped joint plates which denote the wheel manufacturer you need to supply them because he uses blank ones. Great guy to work with.

Alan

That was my next question. I pulled off my old plates and was going to paint them.

I am wondering if he has to heat up the rims to install them or can I paint them before I deliver them to Noah? Does he just press them on?

I have seen new wheels that had the tubes made from copper tubing. (Stutzman?)
Ask him directly.

Stutzman fabricated them and installed them in the wheels he did for my 1912 Roadster.

The hubs and rims that I took to Stutzman were painted.
