WTB #1 Top Iron for '23 Touring Passenger Side
First- a very hearty and appreciative 'Thank You' to the forum members who have replied to my earlier posts and supplied needful parts. Now- I am in need of a single top iron. I would call this the '#1' iron for lack of a better term; it attaches to the forward-most bow, passenger side on the two-man Touring top. This is a 1923, but I think this top was probably standard through 1925. The iron I need terminates, after a slight bend, into a two-pinned knob that seats in the 'saddle' on the adjacent iron. It is also secured with a rivet to an adjacent iron and a kind of rectangular plate with two other rivets. Mine is broken off about six inches above the two-pinned knob-end, and the broken off end piece is missing. I can send pictures via email but I cannot post pictures here. Thank you for bearing with this description- hope to hear from you!

Change post.
So everyone is on the same page you need the right side socket. From the diagram which socket do you need: 1 or 2?

There would be even less confusion if you do as Ford did and refer to the part as right side.

Ah- I misspoke! It is the usual ONE MAN TOP- not a two man top.

Of course- forgot that some of you drive on the Passenger Side. We'll call it the right side then.

William, I might have the front socket you’re looking for. It’s part of a broken set and it’s 33” like Mark’s diagram. Heres 2 photos of it leaning against a down pipe on my roof water catchment system. Comments ??
