Re: Ross steering box
One has been installed in a car and it has been found to be very nice to drive. Unfortunately it only fits the 26-7 T.
As part of the installation it needs a frame rail “doubler” (about 2 ft long). A easy source can be cut from another 26-7 frame. The “drag link” needs to be either twisted standard T or I’ve used a pair of model T tie rod ends and custom made piece of tubing.
I apologize for not responding earlier to people about this earlier, but I’ve been distracted with other projects

Les,
Do you have any pictures? Is the plan to market them at some point?

Re: Ross steering box
At one time my wife's speedster HAD a Ross steering box. Unfortunately it was removed before I bought the car for her. The Ross steering box had been replaced with a Vega steering box. It works fine. But unfortunately is not an era correct steering assembly.

Re: Ross steering box
Ross steering boxes can be found in various types that are easy to adapt, ie, early Jeeps, early Willys, Crosleys, Cushman, early golf carts of various manufacturers, even old tractors used them.
Just do a little research
