Radiator Shop Recommendation in San Antonio, Austin, or DFW TX Area

Post by ModelTWoods » Tue Apr 21, 2020 5:15 pm

Previously, a forum member in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area named a radiator shop that could and would install a modern flat tube core in a T radiator. I know a shop in the Houston area that can do it, but now I live in San Antonio, so a shop recommendation in San Antonio, Austin, or even Dallas/Ft. Worth would be appreciated.

Call Bellmead radiator shop in Waco, Texas. Actually they are in Bellmead but it’s in Waco. They rebuilt the radiator for my 1919 Roadster a year ago with a new flat tube core and it works fine. They have been in business many years and have experience with older radiators and etc. A lot of shops don’t like to work on older stuff when it comes to doing a recore. Their shop was the only one around here that does that type of work. You can check out their website to get the info you need. They aren’t a large shop so that’s probably why they are pretty good.
