Internet Archive. vintage catalogs

Post by dobro1956 » Thu Apr 30, 2020 12:53 am

I just stumbled onto a really neat site that has lots of old vintage catalogs. Im still learning how to use it, but from what I see so far it is free and has a lot of old vintage info. After I learn how to navigate the site, I believe there will be more than I can ever look at. When the page opens, use the little arrow buttons to flip the pages forward or backward. I know very little about the site, but it looks to be a unique and safe place so far...... your mileage may vary...... just thought I would pass the information on.....

Ill try and post a link to an old Stowe Supply Co. sales catalog they have that I have been looking thru. It is over 700 pages long and has lots of T parts in it. It also has lots of other T era stuff, It will take me awhile to look thru it ...

There are also a lot of interesting films there.

Here is an one from 1953 covering the story of Ford:

The information on the supply company is great. I have a large book from a similar company locally specializing in Ford parts, tools and accessories so it is nice to have a resource for other items available at the time. Thank you for sharing.

WE have a couple of era catalogs that carry many different supplies. Fun to look at and do research to find out what the do-dad you just got might be. Might as well share this one too;

Does anyone have a catalog of Smith Form-a-Truck parts?
