coil box wire

Post by TBones12 » Sat May 02, 2020 6:48 am

Any suggestions as to where to get wire to wire up a coil box?

Craft stores are closed so can't get a spool of craft wire.

The coil box I restored last time had about a three strand braided copper (26 ga?) wire.

I was going to try and strip whatever wire that is in my basement.

Does it have to be brass?

I wouldn't think so?

What do you use?

This a 12 box.

Thank you in advanced.

Bob

In a pinch, you can split and use one side of a lamp cord.
