Non approved NH repair

Yet another typical Model T project. Trying to address potential rough running causation on my TT Clarabelle. I had not yet addressed the Holley NH carburetor so decided to take it off this evening. As I start to clean off the years of accumulated grease and gunk, I immediately note a two tone color to the float bowl. Definitely a many years old hack repair job by a former owner. The bowl interior appeared to have had one pass with a wire wheel (still marks) and still significant rust build up, some of it looks like its been there since the JB Weld job. While this might not be the culprit, it can’t be helping. Oh well, more parts on order...
