I've been here since the old site, back in 2016. Now I cannot post pics and the "contact us" feature won't work for me to ask a moderator about it. Can I get some help, please? Thanks.
Edit- I've learned a lot and been able to do a lot of things to our '21 Touring with help/advice form folks on here. Thanks all.

Are you using a computer, or a "smart device"? I can give the steps for the former, but not the latter.

This thread is under the Forum Support Questions forum (is that a mouthful or what?)
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15917
Our new forum is much more friendly for posting pictures, you will get the hang of it.
No need to resize virtually any picture, it should be done automatically.

I use Windows 10 and have never been able to post photos unless I edit them to the maximum pixel size and save as gif files. Forget about using an Android phone to post.

I have mine saved in my photo file on desktop, windows 10. Open attachments, open add files, open photos file, find photo(s) I want to post, double click on photo if just one, hold ctrl button down and click on up to 5 if I want more and load. Have not had to resize any on this site, others I sometimes have to. Never have had to save to other format, JPG loads fine.

Please describe the exact problem you're having. Describe the steps you are taking to the point where things fail.
I assume the pictures are on your PC and you are adding them as Mark described

It is not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. This is the message I get from the forum when I try to upload a picture. The picture uploads after you add file. Then a little yellow triangle shows up to the right after the word status. I can send the photo to my computer, resize it, and I still get this message, so I assume it has something to do with the photo software in the Android OS.

The same error message showed up when I tried to attached .jpeg picture files last night using the standard method, select attachment, browse and attach. Where previously the same steps worked just fine.
Its like something changed in the software or links.

I'm getting the error message "cannot determine size" along with the yellow triangle with an exclamation mark on it.
And this with Windows 8 that worked uploading the same picture files before.
But interestingly, when I tried a more recent picture from last month as a test it would accept it.
The original picture was a .jpeg from 2011.

Would you email me the image you are having a problem with
f.brandi@mchsi.com
If there is a problem with the image it wouldn't email

I have never tried to load a picture from a camera or phone directly into the forum. However I load all my picture into "My Pictures" on my computer. I rotate them in my computer to be oriented correctly. Then I go to attachments and then add files search my pictures and click on the picture I want. I left click on it and it comes up. I add it to the post and then preview. If I like what I see, I submit and it loads right onto the forum. I wouldn't know whether it could be loaded from a phone or not. I don't use those modern things. I still use a land line phone.

I follow Norm's steps to post from my android phone. The old one worked. The new one gets me to 'Add file' and that's it! No other reaction.

I have occasionally received the dreaded yellow triangle. It has always been because of size, although the images were no larger than others that I post. In those cases I have shrunk copies of them minimally, still much larger than enough to fill the screen, and they have posted with no further trouble. Note I said copy. I always keep the original as it came from the camera and edit a copy to post if editing is needed.
I carry a stupid phone, and post pictures only from a desktop computer or a laptop. From some of the comments so far I suspect some posting problems are due to the quirks of a "mobile device".
