Odd Carbide headlight burner

Can anyone Id this odd carbide headlight burner.
Has adjustable tips, all brass construction.

Have no idea, but it sure looks cool and wicked!! Bet it can throw a flame!

Glassworkers head for working with "spun glass" and glass tubing. You wanted the hot spot where both flames cross each other (ergo the adjustability of it).

(One of my long ago former coworker's brother had a custom neon sign shop; each of his workstations had these heads mounted to a workbench to bend tubes and do assembly work. VERY cool way to make a living. and yeah, a very cool find. )
