Old Car Festival: FYI

Post by R.V.Anderson » Sat May 29, 2021 3:21 pm

I couldn't find any information on The Henry Ford website about this year's OCF; even their official calendar doesn't list it even though the Motor Muster is going forward. So I emailed the staff directly and this is what they sent:

"Thank you for contacting us regarding Old Car Festival. At this time we do not have confirmation that this event is happening yet this year. Historically this event does happen the weekend after Labor Day to give you an idea of when the event could be this year."

Yes, the page I found about it on the website this morning says "Coming soon". The last time it was held they started taking applications on June 1, so I'm checking often.
The inevitable often happens.

Personally I can't see it not happening since the Motor Muster's a go.

Maybe lots of folks should call them asking about it. It might encourage them to hold it.

With the relaxing of COVID restrictions in Michigan it should be a go. Motor Muster is allowing fewer cars but that was decided before the latest from CDC and the state.
