I just received an email from Neil Tuckett, of Tuckett Brothers Model T fame in the UK. He and his brother designed the WOSP Model T 12 volt geared Starter. In answering my question he reported that to date 560 starters have been sold in the US, another 100 in the UK and Europe.
Compared to the number of Model T's out there it's a small number, but not insignificant either. It's nice that they produce products for such a small market.
