Customer brought me a new in the box standard Scat crank for his engine. Was checking it out and found the center main out about.005. The front and rear ran true. I have installed maybe 20 of these and never had a problem. Have two others in shop and they are fine.
Good ending is called Scat got return and they are sending a replacement. Problem is they don’t have any.
So if you got any better check them .

Yes, all manufacturers have issues from time to time and it’s the manner in which they approach the issue, agree it’s their
fault and replace it with a “sorry” very quickly. That’s a sign of a great company in my opinion!!

Called Scat yesterday for availability, was told no cores from China until June then figure production time maybe July before they can ship one.

Weird. I just bought a Scat crank from Summit auto. I had it in under 2 weeks. Arrived about a week ago and drop shipped directly from Scat.
