I recently found another luggage like the one I have on my roadster. I was going to install it on Henrietta, but the spare tyre and battery box already take up much of the room.
One photo shows the rack in the stored position. Another shows it fully extended. The width is adjustable according to the load, and can be set in any position.

Allan, That is a great rack, I like the way it is adjustable for width, although I have a tendency to over load my car as it is.

Nice find! They are particularly great having the brass nameplate.
When did I do that?

Accordion racks aren't quite a dime a dozen, but they're pretty close to it. I think they're the most plentiful item I see for sale at swap meets. But this type of rack is uncommon. I've never seen an Autorite before. The brass plate is especially nice. Most racks have no ID at all.
The inevitable often happens.

Re: Authority Luggage Carrier
The two I have fitted on my roadster and tourer are both bolted to rubber covered wooden running boards, so I had no reservations about drilling holes to fit them On Henrietta I was going to shift the mounting brackets so that the original T running board bolts could be used to fit the carrier.
However, I am not going to use it now because most of the running board is already taken up with the spare tyre and wooden battery box which are hand made for the car.
