Does Stutzman's allow visitors?

Post by david_dewey » Sun Jul 02, 2023 11:31 pm

We are headed out on a cross-country tour, and will be going to the Age of Steam Roundhouse, which apparently IS 18 minutes away from Stutzman's wheel shop. Doe he allow visitors to "drop in" just to see it?
Thanks!

Yes, I've seen comments by people who visited the shop. But I would call first.

I stopped in when on the New Philadelphia tour. It was well worth the time to see how the wheels are made and assembled. Be prepared to see some wheels that are totally awesome. He was making a pair that were 6- 8 feet tall.

Noah says that I'm his closest customer. His shop is less than ten miles from the roundhouse. He's there most of the time and is always open to sharing his expertise. The roundhouse is an amazing experience as well. Be sure to verify that it's open for tours on the day you want to attend. We've had many Model T tours there as it was emerging from a barren field to the facility it is today, Don't miss going a couple miles north to Sugarcreek to see the world's largest cuckoo clock, the brick wall sculpture, the museums, and more.
Ask Noah how to contact me. I'd love to meet you. We've both owned '29 Briggs-bodied fordors.

That Roundhouse is totally awesome. And Sugarcreek has a bit of notoriety in it was the setting for some romance movie, the clock and wall were featured in it as well as other recognizable areas.
