Pinion Gear ID

Post by Dan Hatch » Wed Jul 19, 2023 3:05 pm

Got this Pinion gear from I don’t know where. Anyone know what it fits. Same size as Ford 11 tooth gear. But this one has a half spline shaft? Years ago I had a Moore AUXILIARY Transmission in pieces and seems it had a pinion gear like this.
Am I remembering correctly? Thanks Dan

Dan, I fitted my Moore gearbox to my buckboard way back in 1985. I believe it uses a standard model T pinion gear. I managed to mate mine up to a 3:1 crown wheel and pinion set. There is a similar setup in a friend's car in Spokane.

Any ideas what this fits? Looks just like a Ford 11 tooth gear, but the splines.

Any idea? Guess not, so I send it to Hank’s cousin in Beijing. 😄

Hank's cousin has a name you know, Hoo-Screw-Yu and everything that cousin Hoo got from Hank last year is now available for sale at
Ho-chi-minh freight!
Everything works in theory.
