FS Original 1912-1913 Nonpareil Brass Horn

Post by ThreePedalTapDancer » Wed Nov 29, 2023 4:31 pm

Here we have a very rare, round mounting bracket, all-brass Nonpareil single twist horn for the late 1912-1913 Model T Ford. This original horn is in beautiful condition with no major damage or repairs. It has a wonderful polished surface. No dents, only very very minor tiny shelf wear imperfections that can easily be remedied if noticed at all. These horns were often bashed and dented by opening and closing the hood, so finding undented ones is difficult. The original screen is very nice and includes the original thumb screws. Impossible to find in this condition, was stored inside for countless years, probably an early take-off. A must have item for that perfect restoration, and you do not find Nonpareil often compared to the abundant Rubes variety. 425.00 includes shipping.

Ed, when you put the price in, you forgot to go to the Upper case for the dollar sign and it came out as a four.

Hope this helps.

I wish I HAD a '12 for it cause in all actuality for a '13 most of it would have to be painted black and that would be just darned criminal! Yeh yeh I know...some early '13s apparently had an all brass horn hanging on the dash but I'm going by the judging book is all! Dang it's a purdy horn!

Yeh, hard to tell with the lighting and shadowing. Wonder if they picked up that kid in the backseat from some rice paddy in china?

According to the 2021 judging guidelines, July 1912 single twist horns were used, painting black with brass bezel…

It’s a BEAUTIFUL horn, if you’re going for judging, paint accordingly, after judging, wash the paint off and show off the beauty of the horn.
