Artist drawing Model T’s

Sorry, George. I don't hire out. But I drew a charcoal drawing of my Thunderbird back in '88. I have not drawn my Model T. Maybe after I retire.

George, there are electrotypes on Cimorelli's website that are close to your Coupe. They have wood rather than wire wheels. You're on your own if you want a drawing for your pickup. This is a link.

Another option is to edit a photograph. I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 (the small one) and I edited a photo of my Runabout. I changed the style of photo. This is the new version.

You could try contacting Thierry Dubois in France if you want something in the Ligne Claire style. He has a couple of Model Ts.

Count me as a member of the no straight line club to.
I bought a tag for the front of my daily pickup that depicts a generic old wood body truck and the seller said he would make using my T pickup as a pattern,but i never followed thru,I should have. I will go thru my purchase history and see if I can find the vender.
EDIT,
OK here is the listing for the tag i bought, i sent the vender a message and he told me he would at that time make me a tag using my truck to go by,but like I said,I didn't follow thru.

This is a screenshot of a rough draft for a bottle label I did using the owners hot rod 27 for reference. This was a quickie using the art program on the computer. The programs are very sophisticated and I was able to set up the “tools” to mimic a period printing style. Took one hour instead of the usual 6 or 8 to do an ink wash version with brushes or a black colored pencil drawing on textured paper. Creating something like this, based on an owners photo would be a fun excercise so feel free to email me a couple of photos and I’ll mess with it. Im afraid though that the typical T illustration would have a lot less zoomies!
Once a drawing like this is done it can be made into a file that prints at any size on any backing with any type of color or effect you could imagine. A really nice graphite illustration like the one Mark posted (which is really good!) would take around twenty hours, maybe more, so if you find someone to do that style don’t be surprised if it is very expensive. Reproducing said piece would then be a whole ‘nother can of worms so the idea would be that it’s just a one off for the wall. Drawings like that are very charming that’s for sure.

This cartoon of Gary Meitners roadster pickup hot rod is pushing 30 hrs as it is all watercolor and pencil, and still only almost finished. Ones like this are very hard to sell, they are typically just done and gifted for the love of it.
There are several artists who specialize in advertising work related to cars and hot rods especially, like Jeff Norwell, and if I had the loot I’d get a Kieth Weesner painting of my car! Depending on what you’re after a local illustrator may be easy to hire, but I bet an add in Hemmings turns up someone who still does those nice pencil drawings for a reasonable amount, and who specializes in them. I feel like the swap meet used to always have that guy! Good luck and let us know if you find someone! -Chris, in Boulder.

Thanks Rich. I can tell you, the output from the kids who were bottle fed on these machines is absolutely incredible. The computer is just another club in the bag for an artist of my generation. Necessary evil these days but actually really fun to use for its purpose and it’s actually refreshing to see ones’ techniques or trade secrets superceded by the new tech in any industry. For me, getting the brushes wet is like driving my T back and forth to and from the race car garage.

Here is another, and different, art option. Petrol Vibes makes and sells car profiles and neon signs. They don't have any Model T's currently, but you can send them a photo and they can create a laser-cut art profile. We recently bought one for a friend to match his Mustang GT350. You can select your desired size too. I'm thinking of getting their '66 Thunderbird and cutting off the roof to make a convertible. Here is a link.
