Differences between 26 and 27 Tudor

Hi All,
As the subject says, I'm curious if there were any confirmed differences between the 26 and 27 Tudor, or were they identical. Also, the forward and brake pedals are wide, correct? Thanks.

Some 1926 Ts had the headlights mounted on forged stalks. Some '26 and most all '27s had the headlights mounted on a crossbar, of which there were 2 types. Many '27 Ts had a "vaporizer" carburetor and manifold assembly. I'm sure there are other differences. Wire wheels began to appear in the '26-'27 models, and became standard on some. Other than black paint also appeared. Wider pedals and a wider brake band showed up at some point,along with lined rear brakes that are larger and wider. Steering ratio and steering wheel diameter changed along then too. I believe most body wood was phased out except in the Fordor, which remaind largely wood-framed and retained the under-seat fuel tank.

I believe my Tudor is an early '26 because it was originally black. I suspect there were many running changes not tied to a specific year. I have seen several minor differences with others that were probably later. For example mine has wood framing around the rear window, while others are usually steel. I've also seen differences in the header area above the windshield. These differences are not visible, so for practical purposes they are identical.

Sometime in late 25- 1926 Ford introduced a 4 row tube radiator. I don’t think they were on all the cars but Ford put them on.
