I have developed a benchtop tester which fully simulates the performance of the timer / coil ignition system, including operation on magneto voltage on the Model T. The system can measure the performance of any timer running on battery or magneto at any desired rpm. In addition, the system can drive a set of four coils and the behavior of each coil can be measured and observed on a storage scope. If you bring coil(s) and/or timers I will mount them on the system and you can observe the performance of them on battery or magneto operation for free! See you there!
