I don’t believe there’s a difference in the cross shaft. The difference is in the height of the curved cam that actuates on the transmission. The TT is taller like in my picture. And I see now that I can easily remove the rivet fastening the handle to the cross shaft to remove the former for ease and economy of shipment. The rivet isn’t peened over

The cam height is the difference. It is taller because the TT frame rails are deeper, resulting in the cross shaft being lower.
