In Memory: Don Vagasky…..

Post by George House » Wed Apr 24, 2024 10:55 am

….just read the announcement in the VF of my friend, Don Vagasky passing away. Cannot find the obit on the INet. Don was a wonderful Model T man and USAF retiree living in Tucson. He was also a metal worker and a quick glance at Forum history will reveal a beautiful sheet metal speedster body and TT canopy bed he built. Don was also known for manufacturing C Cab top wood metal corners. The March/April VF lists him as being 105 which, I believe, is incorrect. Vaya con Dios friend Don 🥲

Terrible news! Another craftsman lost to the hobby. The Ames emblem I got from him for #45's radiator shell will have extra meaning..........not a bad way to remember him I suppose.

Good Man. We met with him and his wife on several tours.
My prayers are with the family.

Don was a great friend and a dedicated Model T restorer. We had the pleasure of knowing him and his wife, Teta, for many years. He will be missed. Russ Furstnow
