26-27 Roadster top iron windshield brackets
So after figuring out how long my front top iron is supposed to be and fabricating one, the how long the straight wood pieces are between the irons, now I’m trying to fit things together up top and come to the windshield brackets that came with my swap meet (incomplete) top irons so many moons ago I didn’t know better! Here’s what I’ve got and it seems the two ears that fasten to the front wood should be pretty much even with each other instead of the rather large offset that looks like they would fasten to the curve of the top iron. It looks like I’ve got a few hours of blacksmithing and welding work to make these things fit/fasten correctly. Does anyone recognize that these may be for an earlier year or possibly another make?

Actually they be messed up.
The bow attaching bars are pretty straight for all of the slant W/S top mounts.
I recently redid my 27 roadster PU.
I think someone had a narrower top than correct & made the brackets fit onto the metal bow radii.

That’s what I suspected, but they did a good job of “finishing” the cut down/bent portion to fit their application…..it looks factory produced!

Bob,
I have several of those and, you appear to have brackets for an earlier year. The one you see mounted is for my 27 Roadster. Ken

Just saw this! Great collection and explanation of my brackets, but they’ve been heated, and bent to fit now! Frankencar has its problems with apparently other years parts! But we soldier on……

Looking @ the layout of brackets, notice the top row has some as yours.(not with extra bending)
I had occasion to survey several T's. They all used the lower style with the tabs flat & the mount perpendicular to the bow.
26-7 roadster & touring, 23 touring & 25 roadster.
So what does the other style (like yours) fit?? Canadian pre 23?? slant W/S? Some other brand?? Anybody?
