I adjusted carburetor and I turned the needle all the way in for best idle, when the lack of power was pretty evident as I could not drive on grades we have there.
I pulled the plugs and 1 of them was wet. Plugs are relatively new.
Having no parts with me, I just left it there and I am going back with new plugs and spare coil I have.
But could it be just the elevation making such poor performance?
In the past I took my carbureted boat to Lake Tahoe, who is at 6200' elevation and I had to replace propeller with lower pitch for the boat to go into planning.
No option of changing differential on Ford.
