I have a very old note (c.1920), apparently from a Ford dealer, and apparently enclosed with 2 parts he was supplying, and saying he was out of stock of the third.
But I can't find the numbers in any list I have. They are
1629
1884
2371
Can any of you identify them please?
Strange part numbers - what?

Re: Strange part numbers - what?
The Price List of Parts don't have that series of numbers in either T, TT or Fordson parts listings, including Canadian export price lists.
A search of "Factory Numbers" did find two, 1629 ( price part # T-3604) Bolt, 5/16 x 20, 2" L, and the 1884, Starter armature shaft (but no price part #). However, a dealer wouldn't use Factory Number, would only use Part Numbers that have an assigned cost price to the customer. The match of these two numbers is likely coincidence.
So believe that those numbers would not be for Ford parts.
