When did Ford change the design of the grease cups from the early style to the later style used until the end?

That sounds like a search job in Bruce' encyclopedia, and maybe some parts books of various years. I say that because you can't go by the 8-5-28 parts book we all have. That will show you what's current and will fit, even if it's changed from previous versions of the same part. Ford wasn't concerned with being "correct".

Grease Cup (rear axle and D.S.bushing) p/n 2545B (Fac # 76) is noted by Bruce's C-D to be used likely '09-'27

The other Grease Cup, p/n 2545 (Fac # T-76A2) was noted to be used '24-'27

Think the difference is the brand with the ratchet, to prevent the cap from vibrating off, you see these styles on the '24 and later original Ts.

The early style I have on my 1913's is a more decorative knurl than the later design.
