WTB cotton linings...

Post by Daisy Mae » Wed Dec 04, 2024 7:34 pm

I keep missing all the cotton linings that go up for sale.
I would really like to keep cotton in Daisy for the time being, thinking I'd hold off on Kevlar until I do a rebuild.

So....just putting it out there...if you happen to have a set of narrow linings you wish to sell, just give me a holler for a guaranteed sale instead of making a post....well OK, I know any post with linings is a guaranteed sale LOL

Thanks!!!

You can’t buy cotton from vendors?

Not that I've seen. Kevlar seems to be the last remaining game in town. If you know of a vendor, please let me know.

Just got a can of cotton linings in a bunch of stuff I bought. There are 6 narrow linings and 2 wide linings so there are two sets for either type of brake drums. They’re a little dirty from being in the can but I think they would clean up and be ok.

Cotton “looms” extinct! Why the decline in cotton? Doesn’t make sense. Been around since inception?
