Need space for open trailer in Bloomington,IN x 1 week

Post by DHort » Mon Jan 13, 2025 12:00 pm

I am hoping to get Steve Jelf's 1915 Roadster down to MCPherson this weekend. It is going to be below zero when I head out. After I drop it off in Kansas I have to head to Bloomington, IN and need a place to stash the trailer while I haul my kid to Boston with a UHaul. Would anyone in Bloomington area have a driveway, side yard, spot where I could store it until I get back? Thank you. for-one-for for zero three 0107.

I know you specified around Bloomington
Indiana- I'm just a half mile south of I-70 half way between Indianapolis and Richmond at exit 115 (Knightstown exit) and two hours from Bloomington if that would help you, would definitely be happy to help you ! Jamie Maxwell

Yes it would Kenny. I have to go through Indianapolis on my way back.
I tried to send you an e-mail, but I would be surprised if it got through.
The forum is not working very good today.
Thank you.

Dave,

Let me know if Kenny's place works better for you, my uncle is about 35 miles south of Bloomington.
Give an old car guy a barn and he won't throw anything away.

Problems were all solved. Got my son off to Boston and all unloaded. Now heading back to Indianapolis to pick up my trailer that Kenny was so gracious to store for me. Today I stopped at Lang's since I was in MA. Got a tour with Josh, then Steve, and Don, too. My wallet even jumped out of my pocket and opened up. Had great conversations with the guys until I had to leave. Lang's is 3 times larger than I guessed it was. So much inventory. Definitely worth a visit.

4400 miles in 8 days. 225 gallons of gas. Averaged 19.3 mpg. Everything accomplished except seeing my cousin in Vermont.

Thank you to everybody for all your help.
