What is the solution to the gap between the cowl and the dash? It is as big as 7/16". I know nothing about what goes there or how it is attached.

That gap is supposed to be like that, it provides airflow for ventilation with the windshield slightly opened.

Vernon: Looks correct. The 'gap' on my '26 is slightly less than 1/2" at the pillars and 7/16" at the center, you're good to go!
