Radiator apron fit
I am 'upgrading' a '26 Roadster Pickup that I didn't restore. After difficulty with the fit of the hand crank and a repro apron, I got a nice apron on eBay. This one has the hole for the screw into the engine mount and the extension where the crank and spring goes. It didn't line up. The new reproduction wooden block supports under the hood blocks (Ford terminology) were about 1/4 inch too high. I sanded all wooden supports until they were flush with the metal hood blocks. This brought the apron lower. The crank then lined up and the screw hole was centered. Dave
