starter switch information

the attached image regarding servicing the clum ignition/lighting switch is from a ford service bulletin... i am trying to research these switches in general and assume that switches from other vendors may also be covered elsewhere... i am trying to identify the the actual (or similar) source so that i can acquire a copy.... are there copies of these bulletins available? thanks...

The description of repairing the switch is no different than it would be for the pin type that the Model T suppliers sell (when in stock). However the layout is not exactly the same. But there are Clum backing plates that are the same as the common Model T so its necessary to see the backing plate and internal parts to properly ID a switch.

frank, i appreciate your quick response... the information that you've provided is great and i can certainly use it.... I am actually trying to find the publication that contained the page that i had posted... i don't know too much about the publications for the model t but the page i posted appears to say 'ford service bulletin' at the top of the page and each paragraph is numbered... is this from an original bulletin, or is it from a compilation of bulletins... is it part of an aftermarket book.... how can i identify the publication....

I may have found the source of what you have a copy of. Same everything but page numbers are different

Didn't know which so I started to search 1919 - nothing

--Then1920 and git a hit (To search click on the magnifying glall then enter the search word and hit the ENTER key (@takes a bit to find it)

Thanks for letting me know about the link problem. I corrected them, up above, by removing the prefix https:// which indicates (s suffix) a secure web site
