extra slots

Post by Gen3AntiqueAuto » Tue Oct 03, 2023 8:08 pm

Long long ago there was a rumour that there were a few "special" hogsheads made that had extra slots in them for magnets. These magnets were the same as the inside ones but adding them to the slots made the engine run without gasoline. Does anyone have any articles, photos, or knowledge about this "super secret feature"?

Tim, you report "extra slots" I would be interested to know of the original slots in a hogshead, and how they compare with the extras.

I read something about that somewhere, probably on old forums here. Whatever it was, it could not make the car run without gasoline or some source of energy, such as a storage battery. It would be possible to build a hybrid gas-electric T by adding a motor in place of the flywheel magneto and adding an Li battery of substantial size and control/interface equipment. Possible; not easy or cheap. Given the characteristics of the stock T engine, you could probably eliminate the transmission to make more space for a motor, which might require a water jacket. Take off on the the motor, then cruise on gas, or kick in both for a wild ride.

Google "John Worrell Keely" "Model T" and you will find the BS you are looking for on the internet, including at least one MTFCA forum thread.

It's been a dark secret for decades now that NASA actually used cow magnets to power the Gemini and Apollo "rockets". All the smoke and flame and noise was just for show for the TV cameras and to throw the Russians off the trail. The cow magnet drive (CMD-1) has been retired, and they now use an anti-matter propulsion system developed at Area 54 which is based loosely on the anti matter drive system aboard the Alien craft that crash-landed in 1947 near Roswell. The Alien crew is still alive and doing consulting work for NASA. The Aliens live quietly in a luxury villa in the South of France. They do not eat cats, as some have reported. They prefer a diet of blue-green algae and dust mites.

I could tell you about the "no gasoline" modifications, but silent black ops helicopters would carry me away.
