What is this? Ford/Resetter.

My enterprising young son took a metal detector to the front yard and dug up this. What might it be or was? It says Ford on one side, Resetter on the other side.

It was for mood swings, brought on by a less-than-cooperative Model T.

Looks like part of a Ford water meter resetter. Moves a water meter higher in the box.

I turned it up while doing research on Normalee Moody, of Fecklersburg Wyoming.

Funny, My carburetor inlet fitting was machined out of a FORD water fitting.
24-28 TA race car, 26 Canadian touring, 25 Roadster pickup, 14 Roadster, and 11AB Maxwell runabout
Keep it simple and keep a good junk pile if you want to invent something :P
