coils

Post by Charlie B in N.J. » Wed Aug 05, 2020 11:01 pm

Just came into a nice set of coils from a local flea market yesterday. Going to get them into shape but it's been a while since I've done any and I need to know what's the latest on the condensers being sold & any problems with new point sets.

The best capacitors have been on backorder for too long. The points are currently really good and rarely need much work, if any.

I need 200 hundred capacitors. Like I said they are backordered. I have points and that is what I was offering.

Andy, Do you rebuild engines and transmissions? I am in Ames, Iowa. If you do, what is your contact information? I have a 1927 coupe?

I have enough of the correct “Orange Drop” capacitors for T coils on hand that I could spare some. They are the ones recommended for decades by the more knowledgeable coil rebuilders. These are the round ones so you will have to remove the glass spacer in your coils.

4 for $20
8 for $35
100 for $370
shipping anywhere in the US included.
