Front Spring Perch
This Model T front spring perch is being offered on a hot rod site I belong to, he says it was sold through Lang's. Does this bolt to the outside of the frame or is the front crossmember removed and this fits inside of the frame? Tim in Omaha

Re: Front Spring Perch
It bolts to the frame to lower the front axle (perhaps to much).

Re: Front Spring Perch
Definitely a “period correct” way of lowering a T.
If I remember correctly it is in this book. It explains how to make one yourself.

Re: Front Spring Perch
Super way to lower the front. The completely original Aldrich roadster is one of the oldest known surviving hotrods. Also happens to be at Lang’s! Wish they would get moving on it, they’ve had it a decade and it still isn’t running

Thanks guys, I knew it bolted to the frame, I just needed to know if it was to the outside or the inside and now I know. Pictures worked great. Tim in Omaha
